In common parlance, &#8220;metis&#8221; is used to refer to people born to parents of different ethnicities or with a different phenotype, or to designate cultural mixing.  <\/p>\n<p>The METIS Winter School aims to develop new relationships between theory and practice, academia and theatre, traditions and fashions through intensive residencies in which teachers, students, artists, and artisans share other types of intergenerational transmission of knowledge. <\/p>\n<p>The seminar is reserved for students of the University of Roma Tre.
