Ricardo Iniesta García is a Spanish theatre director and dramatist. In 1983 he founded the Atalaya theatre group, with which he directed five shows and won the Premio Nacional de Teatro. He launched the International Street Theatre Meeting in Madrid, which hosted more than fifty European theatre groups between 1981 and 1983.

An important success of Atalaya is the Laboratory of Theatrical Investigation, which turned 25 years old in 2020, becoming a reference point for training and artistic research in Spain.
