METIS Winter School “Artistic coherence and political engagement.”
In ancient Greek, Metis was the name of the goddess of wisdom and cunning. In common parlance, “metis” is used to refer to people born to parents of different ethnicities or with a different phenotype, or to designate cultural mixing.
The METIS Winter School aims to develop new relationships between theory and practice, academia and theatre, traditions and fashions through intensive residencies in which teachers, students, artists, and artisans share other types of intergenerational transmission of knowledge.
The seminar is reserved for students of the University of Roma Tre. Some activities are open to everyone based on availability.
